Isabell Noack
MenuHi, I’m Isa.
My interest in tech started with video games and animation back in high school, which gradually drew me into 3D design. I now spend my time exploring Blender and Unreal Engine, trying out new features and turning ideas into 3D creations.
I hold a Bachelor’s in E-Commerce from the University of Applied Sciences Jena, where I gained hands-on experience in web shops, programming, and data. For my thesis, I combined these technical skills with my interest in immersive technology and 3D to create a game-based VR learning environment on Unity, raising awareness for drinking water.
After graduating, I joined Bosch Rexroth in their PreMaster program, focusing on automation. I developed Power Automate workflows for tasks like web automation in customer portals and created AI-powered pipelines to generate release notes from Azure DevOps work items.
I’m now pursuing my M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Würzburg, studying immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, and how people interact with digital systems.
My biggest project of 2024.
A major challenge in education is motivating and engaging students in various subjects. To address this, educators leverage young people's
natural curiosity about new technologies and innovative approaches.
By using virtual reality and gamification, interest is boosted, and the learning process is enriched.
This bachelor’s thesis involves developing a prototype of a game-based virtual reality learning environment (VRLE)
focused on the topic of drinking water. The learning environment targets lower secondary school students and uses VR and game-like
elements as central components to raise awareness about the importance of drinking water.
March 2025 - February 2026
Worked in the Sales, Order Processing, and Innovation team, developing automation solutions. This PreMaster program bridged my Bachelor's and Master's studies, providing hands-on experience before continuing my academic journey.
August 2020 - September 2024
Supported the 3D development team by preparing objects for virtual rooms. During my practical semester, I gained valuable experience in process management as a business analyst.
March 2020 - June 2020
Contributed to film production for JenaJournal, designing logos and info graphics, conducting interviews, and assisting with public opinion polls.
Since April 2026
Focusing on designing and evaluating interactive systems with AI, user experience, usability, and mixed reality.
October 2020 - September 2024
Studied digital business, web development, e‑shop management, databases, programming, and data analytics.
2011 - 2019
Enjoyed sketching during breaks and explored 3D animation in my final year, creating projects using Blender.
Here are some recent projects I've worked on for university or in my spare time.
Board Game Design
I'm a fan of Settlers of Catan, and I've designed my own 3D version of the game. This project involved 3D modeling, 3D printing, painting, and extensive testing. I created unique game hexagons that can be swapped with the standard cardboard tiles for a more immersive gameplay experience.
The development process spanned an entire year. The image is a collage representing various aspects of the project.
VR-development with Unity
As part of our university AR/VR module, our team developed a VR castle-building simulator using Unity.
During this project, we gained essential skills in Unity, including environment modeling, and crafted modular building components for the castle construction experience.
I'm happy to connect, listen and help. Let's work together and create something awesome. Email Me.
